Atlantic Youth PSAC Mission Statement

The youth of the Public Service Alliance of Canada Atlantic Region are committed to enhancing our union by:

• Providing an inclusive environment where all people are valued for their individual differences.

• Promoting Youth involvement and leadership development opportunities.

• Facilitating programs that foster interaction among the youth of the union.

The Youth of PSAC is an integral part moving the union forward into the 21st century.

Through volunteerism, its boards and committees the union offers first hand experience in citizenship and educates youth in leadership, social responsibility, and values.

In all its processes, the union encourages self-directed activity, giving maximum opportunity for self-realization and for growth in individual, social competency and group effectiveness.
